PAINTER MAT - WALLCOVERING -- Application
Kingfappy Painter Mat patterns are nonwoven textile mats with
glass fiber that can be used
to reinforce less than perfect walls and ceilings. These
reinforcing mats serve to strengthen a wall prior to the
installation of a surface application such as painting, wallcovering, stucco or skim coating. When combined with
a decorative top coating, Painter Mats create a wall
reinforcement system. Painter Mats create a wall
reinforcement system. Painter Mats are suitable for
reinforcing cracked plaster walls, as a lightweight
liner prior to wallpapering or as a nonwoven
reinforcement prior to painting. It also can be used in
restoration projects where walls or ceilings need to be
reinforced or when surface cracks need to be covered
prior to a specialty topcoat such as plaster or stucco.
Not intended for bridging gaps with width or depth of
1/8 or more. As strong nonwoven textile, Painter Mats
not only serve to reinforce walls but can help to
prevent cracks and surface problems from reappearing. If
used as an alternative to extensive skim coating or
spackling, Painter Mats may contribute overall savings
in time and labor cost.
